NEW NOTICES:

- 4/28/2021 - New bookings will now have 30 minutes of padding automatically applied before and after the event reservation time to give the IT Section time to set up and tear down spaces.

Vision and Mission Statements

• Air Force Wargaming Institute Vision: Leverage LeMay's human capital and technology to advance Department of the Air Force insights through wargaming in order to develop doctrine and sustain advantage in future Great Power Competition.

• Air Force Wargaming Institute Mission: Execute a wide range of Department of Defense wargames and wargame adjudication in coordination with Air University faculty and students.  Provide wargame support for Air University, the Department of the Air Force, and Title X games as requested.

General Information

Building 1406 houses conference rooms and classroom spaces devoted primarily to the purpose of conducting DAF wargames up to the TOP SECRET level.  These spaces are also frequently used by Air University and 42ABW organizations for classified events and video teleconferences. Standard business hours are Monday-Friday, 0630-1630.  For reservations outside these hours, inquire within. 

Please use the below floor plans and the scheduling tool to determine what spaces you would like to reserve for your event.  Use the dropdown boxes above to select which type of space you want (Conference Room, Classroom, or Workspace).  For any questions or concerns related to scheduling, specific IT capabilities, or security/building access, reference the contact numbers below:

*Reservation Instructions*

Initiate your reservation request by selecting a green box (signifying the room is available for the corresponding time) in the grid for the corresponding room and time you would like to reserve.  If the date of your request is not showing, click "Go To Date" and select the desired date to jump to it.  If the desired room is not showing, return to the top of the page and select "Show All" from the Category drop-down box.  Click "Info" next to a corresponding room to learn more about its capabilities.

If booking a *SINGLE* room for multiple days, click on the link to the room below and switch to week view to reserve multiple days at a time for the specified room.

If the booking grid does not display at the bottom of this page, try reloading the page.  This usually resolves the issue.  If no resolution, contact the scheduling section using the number listed above.

Workspaces are typically used internally by members of the Wargaming and Intelligence directorates.  Requestors should attempt to reserve a room in the Conference Room or Classroom categories that meets their needs prior to making a request in this category.  For any questions, please call 953-5132.
